Prvi korak u kontroli stresa je znati prepoznati simptome stresa. Ali prepoznavanje simptoma stresa mo\u017ee biti te\u017ee nego \u0161to mislite. Ve\u0107ina od nas su toliko navikli da su pod stresom da \u010desto ne znamo da smo pod stresom dok ne do\u0111emo do to\u010dke pucanja.<\/p>

\u0160to je stres?<\/h3>

Stres je reakcija tijela na \u0161tetne situacije – bez obzira jesu li stvarne ili ih mi samo tako do\u017eivljavamo. Kada se osje\u0107amo ugro\u017eeni u tijelu se doga\u0111a kemijska reakcija koja nam omogu\u0107uje da izbjegnemo razne vrste ozljeda. Ova reakcija je poznata kao “borba ili bijeg” ili odgovor na stres. Tijekom odgovora na stres, ubrzava se rad srca, ubrzava se disanje, mi\u0161i\u0107i su napregnuti, a krvni tlak poraste. Razumijevanje prirodnog odgovora na stres<\/h3>

Kada se na\u0111emo u stresnoj situaciji pokre\u0107e se alarmni sustav u va\u0161em tijelu. Kroz kombinaciju \u017eiv\u010danih i hormonalnih signala, dolazi do navale hormona iz nadbubre\u017ene \u017elijezde – prvenstveno adrenalin i kortizol.<\/p>

Adrenalin pove\u0107ava broj otkucaja srca, podi\u017ee krvni tlak i poja\u010dava opskrbu energijom. Kortizol, primarni hormon stresa, pove\u0107ava nivo \u0161e\u0107era (glukoze) u krvi, pobolj\u0161ava kori\u0161tenje glukoze u mozgu. Kortizol tako\u0111er obuzdava funkcije koje \u0107e biti \u0161tetne ili nepotrebne.<\/p>

Ovaj slo\u017eeni prirodni alarmni sustav tako\u0111er komunicira s podru\u010djima va\u0161eg mozga koji kontroliraju raspolo\u017eenje, motivaciju i strah. Ali kada su stresori (uzrok stresa) stalno prisutni, a vi se stalno osje\u0107ate ugro\u017eeno, dugoro\u010dno aktiviranje stres-odgovor sustava i pretjerano lu\u010denje kortizola i drugih hormona stresa mo\u017ee poremetiti gotovo sve procese u tijelu. Ako razina kortizola ostane dulje vrijeme povi\u0161ena, dolazi do razgradnje mi\u0161i\u0107a, smanjuje se upalni odgovor i potiskuje imunolo\u0161ki (obrambeni) sustav. To predstavlja pove\u0107an rizik od brojnih zdravstvenih problema, uklju\u010duju\u0107i anksioznost, depresiju, probavne probleme, glavobolje, sr\u010dane bolesti, probleme sa spavanjem, debljanje, smanjenje koncentracije i memorije.<\/p>

Postoji li lijek za stres?<\/h3>

Medicinska akupunktura koju koristi dr.sc. Jadran Matutinovi\u0107 u PREVENT Split izaziva reakciju opu\u0161tanja, \u0161to smanjuje broj otkucaja srca, sni\u017eava krvni tlak, pove\u0107ava energiju i regeneraciju tkiva, pobolj\u0161ava probavu te smanjuje stres.
